Kat & Rafael

Kat and Rafael sealed their love in Cartagena, a destination they fell in love with, and made them decide to celebrate a lovely intimate destination wedding.

They met several years ago in Panama, and despite having traveled to multiple countries, they had not found a place with as much magic as the streets of the corralito de piedras.
Kat and Rafael wanted to find the ideal wedding venue where both families could enjoy a spectacular trip, and both agreed that Cartagena would be perfect to delight Kat's family who would travel all the way from the United States.
Once they decided the city for their marriage, the search for a wedding planner who could help them prepare for the event began. Through my blog they were able to contact me and right at the moment all the preparations for this wonderful wedding began.
Planning a wedding in Cartagena from South Korea is not an easy job, 14 hours apart were such a challenge, but through photographs and video calls we were able to finalize all the details so that each aspect came out exactly as Kat and Rafael dreamed. The result was beautiful, definitely a magical night for the couple and all their family and friends. 

The 50 guests who attended the ceremony and outdoor reception on a terrace of the Historic Center of Cartagena enjoyed an incredible view. The sober decoration, the lights that illuminated the wedding venue and the couple happiness were the ideal combination for a romantic and unforgettable evening.

This city was the perfect destination because besides the wedding, its tourist attractions allowed Kat's family to know the wonders they had seen only through photos on the internet, and Rafael's family, even though they had already visited Cartagena in other times, they could fall in love again with this city that never loses its charm.
Without a doubt the architecture, the colors of our city, the landscapes and the history behind them fascinated each of their family and friends, they were all happy and without a doubt enjoyed every second of their stay in our iconic Cartagena.
